Editor and journalists needed

We are a B2C content marketing company in the wellness sector. We are currently hiring 3 journalists (2 years’ experience or more) and an editor to support the content section of our site. Prior verifiable experience writing for consumers in the wellness and health space is highly desirable.

These are fulltime contract positions, responsible for researching and writing articles across various wellness sectors in an online magazine format. We need longform, narrative journalists who can quickly create feature stories and columns (1000 to 2000 words, depending on the topic) which help demystify health conditions, provider services and treatments. While some may be self-help articles, most will explain the relevance and value of building professional relationships with service provider categories (example sectors: beauty & antiaging, fitness & mind-body, nutrition & weight loss), as well as product/service trends over time.

Experience with media will be a plus. We leverage context sensitive media placement to illustrate articles and help readers understand the information within and advertise services and products.

We provide voice, tone and style guides as well as high level personas. We prefer an objective but conversational tone to address predefined personas within the Millennial, XGenr and Baby Boomer demographics (in that order). While we can provide starter topics and standard personas, writers are expected to identify and pitch additional topics and personas based on their research so that we can build a topic roadmap to guide future development of articles.

We support writers via online tools which help identify industry participants & competitors, common reader questions, SEO keywords, related keywords, top pages, ad copy, ad spend, PPC research, etc. Having your own subscriptions to such tools can help you improve your writing.
